I was born in South Africa, but haven’t lived there for many years.
A little about your self `ie your education Family life etc
My family life was thoroughly dysfunctional. We were like gypsies, rarely staying in one place for more than three months at a time. This had a profound effect on me – I have never been able to settle to ‘normal’ life. My education was abnormal too – a doctorate in church doctrine – surely the most useless doctorate in the world.

I have two new works-in-progress. One is a novel—a political thriller set in South Africa— the other is a memoir.
